I too think the soy is a cause of some of the issues. I am feeding mine a bagged soy containing feed as a protein source (Flock Raiser), but also free-range time and an assortment of whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, and a little organic beef too, as well as some goat milk. They PREFER to eat the grain/veggie/fruit tray than the bagged feed in their feeders. And when they have that for a meal instead of the bagged feed, I notice a smell difference. The bagged feed makes them STINK. Flock Raiser makes my layers stink, but if they ate scratch feed, or free-ranged, or ate table scraps, they don't stink.
