"Alright... Thank you. Fergus, I would die if I lost you."
"Fair enough." Fergus considered the subject closed. Dropping his head, he nipped angrily at the dead grass. Rain hadn't fallen lately, and aside from the watering holes being low, grass was hard to come by. "Did they at least feed you better in Summer Set?"

"The grain was disgusting, but the hay was pretty good. But it doesn't beat fresh, lush, green grass."

"Bleah!" Fergus spit out a mouthful of dead grass. He picked his head up. "I haven't had lush green grass in so long, I've forgotten what it tastes like."
"You might taste it again soon. A storm is coming in." She gestured to the dark clouds above the mountains.

Fergus stared skyward. Usually, he could smell approaching storms, but ever since meeting Winona, his thoughts kept wandering. You better stay alert, stupid, or something might get us both.

"To the east..."

( :barnie :( )

Ashley looked at him. "Um... Hi." She said.

(What's with all the faces?)

(Chickensrock said she had to go.....)

A gust of wind blew in, bringing the first drop of rain with it. The clouds grew angrier by the moment. "Fergus... We need to find shelter."

"Shelter?" Fergus' idea of seeking shelter in a storm was to turn his butt to it and wait while wind and rain pounded him. "Okay, lead the way."

Winona led them to a rocky ledge spilling over a cliff. When under the ledge, only a few drops of water fell through the rocks.
