Hi, I don't have the full scoop just yet, but there's a Swedish drake dumped in NY (I know, it's a large state) near a drainage pond where there is a snapping turtle. I am not in NY, but heard of this through another social media connection.
It may be close enough to Western Connecticut or Northern New Jersey for someone there who is interested. The guy needs a predator-safe environment. But he really needs a rescue.
