Drake lost webbing on half of one foot

Thank you! I don't have those kinds of bandages, so I'm going to go into town and wrap his foot when I get back. A commenter on the post said they used a baby sock and then bandages, so I'm also going to see if I can get a pair just in case I have trouble with the layering of bandages.

Okay, we wrapped it, then it fell off, then we wrapped it again with tape on top of the bandage, and it seems to be staying on now. It doesn’t seem to bother him too much, and he’s loving the inside of the house. He’s also loving the feed that he doesn’t have to share
He isn’t limping nearly as badly as he was this morning, I don‘t know if it’s because he hasn’t had to follow around the flock when he doesn’t want to move, or if it’s because the bandage makes his foot feel a little better. He also found a mirror and tried to scare the “other duck” off! His nails are exposed, so he can scratch and itches, and he doesn’t seem to mind the bandage nearly as much as I though he would. He’s preening right now, and is being very cute, too

I’m glad someone was able to provide you a link and you could wrap his foot. If he is walking on it that’s a great sign! Looking at your pictures I do not think it was frostbite and rather injury, possibly predator. I hope he continues to do well

Thank you! I'm glad, too. He's been hanging out with his best bud, Uka, in the bathtub and doesn't seem to mind sitting down all day. Uka doesn't seem to mind, either. I'm going to have to take his bandage off tomorrow and then I'm going to be gone for a couple of days, so I won't be able to take care of him. My parents will be home, so they can keep an eye on him to make sure he's okay. My dad can wrap a bandage if it's an emergency.
