I'm hoping that it's a she, it's easier to deal with a mating issue than a territorial issue!!!!

I need help with this. I have a drake who is nothing short of sadistic. I have one female he just refuses to leave alone. I separate them at night but what the heck can I do during the day? We have a pond and the drake just waits for her to try to get in. I am close to looking up duck recipes but he would probably be too tough to eat
