Yesterday I processed my two evil drakes.
I tried to "train" them to be nice but nothing worked.

Just thought I would let you people who were following my thread about "homicidal drakes"

No matter - enjoy - somehow you just feel better about them being dinner instead of homicidal

Its the way of life, if I get attacked I'm going to eat them, its not like they are going to waste.

Mmmmm, you'll love it. How do you plan to prepare them?

Probably in a stew that I found in a book.

or saute the meat with onions and garlic

Hens_And_Chicks I let you know how it tastes, I have only eaten the wild ducks that I have shot, so I doubt there will be a "gamey" taste.

Duck skin is gold!!!!!!!!!!! I would try to save the skinn. Although I have not done my ducks yet (ask me in a couple of weeks). I did skin my chicken and I love love love chicken skin.

We were trying to keep the skin, but dry plucking DUCKS is VERY hard. so we spent an hour or so trying to get the feathers off, in the cold rain, so we just kinda were like tired so we skinned them and got as much meat as possible
