Drake sitting on eggs

Is it normal for a Muscovy drake to sit on the eggs with her? They both just sit and hang out I have another drake who goes on the attack if you simply open the pen door. By accident I ended up with two drakes and a hen but they seem to be happy for now

Glad you are watching them. I am interested to read if other Muscovies do this. We only have Runners and Buffs. I have seen Bean our drake sitting on a nest once or twice.

My drake has not done this. I'd like to keep eye on this thread though

Both my drakes are very protective but only franky sits on them from what Ive seen
