Drake Swimming Backwards?

I threw my drake a few peas in the bathtub water, and he dunked for them... only he ended up swimming backward and just decided to leave the pea after he didn't get it. (Then I would feed him another and he'd eat it right as it hit the water.) This happened multiple times and has happened before, actually.

Any ideas? Is this normal?

How often is this happening a day? DO you have a video? What breed is he, and how old?
I'll get a video as soon as I can! He's an 11 month old call duck. It was pretty strange to see! He doesn't do it all the time, but it's got me a little concerned because of last night. It was like he tried to dunk for the pea but involuntarily swam backwards when he tried to go under the water. So odd. He did this probably 5 times and did not get to eat the pea before one of his siblings did! I've only ever noticed him doing this maybe 5 other times in the past.

The video will help a lot, but it sounds like it maybe something neurological. I have a few hens around here, that walk backwards for a few seconds, stop, then proceed normally. Some soft tissue damage to the head could cause such a problem.

Heres a video. If you watch it all the way through (it's about 30 seconds long!) You'll see what i'm talking about. It is so odd! He has never been dropped or anything. My three are pets and I hatched them from their eggs (and have been with them every day since they were born). They chill in their pen in the day and then come in with me at night. The only thing that is also odd about him is that he has sneezing fits very frequently and has ever since he was a baby. That's why I started the nightly bath times. The sneezing issue probably has nothing to do with why he is swimming backwards though lol. I've had to pull out some feathers through his nostrils that were stuck multiple times.

VIDEO: in the comment down below!

It appears there is something neurological going on. How often does he do this?
I don't watch him much when he is outside in his pool, but it seems like 75% of the time when they get treats in the water he will do this. It's very odd. When I pick him up he will also do something similar and push his neck outwards unless he has my hands under his feet.
