My drake is sick. He cannot control his neck but he can flap his wings and eat. He sleeps in the coop with the hens and rooster. Someone I know thinks he has an infection but I'm not sure if this is what's wrong with him because he is fine in every other way. Will he get better? Can anyone recommend what I can do to help him get better? What is wrong with him? Is it possible the rooster could have attacked him?

How old is he? Has he been falling on his back? Are there peck marks on his neck from the rooster?

How long has he been like this? If it's just a few hours, he could have botulism. But if it has been longer, he may have a neck injury. If possible, can you get him to a vet?

It really sounds more like an injury than an infection, to me... but it's just a guess.
