Drakes + Chicken Hens

I have chickens obsessed with laying in the duck barn. Last year my drake decided he hated one. He couldn’t do much until she settled down to lay then he would try and choke her and pull feathers from her neck. The other hens he tolerated fine. It’s a crap shoot and be prepared for it to go bad

Thanks for the feedback! So the hen could out maneuver the drake other than when she stopped to lay? Hopefully our hens lay in their raised lay boxes to avoid that problem *fingers crossed*
