Drakes.....???

Okay, yesterday had to permanently separate hens and drakes because the drakes were attacking one hen. Today the drakes (two Khakis) are attacking the one Magpie drake. Thought they didn't tend to fight when hens weren't around? Hens are in separate pen entirely (and none too happy about it - keep getting loud squawking from one of younger hens).
 
Right now they are sex driven and have developed the habit of attempting to gang breed. Their intents towards the Magpie drake are most likely sexual in nature. Just the nature of testosterone driven drakes.
 
I have heard you can light neuter drakes by putting them in the dark for 12-14 hours. Anyone tried it?

Of course, not sure I could do that since I feel guilty if I don't let them outside from dawn to dusk.....
