Drawing an Easter Egger

I recently did a "Biggest Boof" competion. @Weeg 's La won, and I agreed to draw her. So....Here's the thread. (because i had to make one) Disclaimer: I am not an artist. I draw chickens for fun. any tips would be greatly appreciated.
First, I'm going to show the materials.
I'm using a Dell 2-in-1 to help trace the outline.

I'm using Fine Touch colored pencils and First Mate .7 mm thickness mechanical pencil.
