Dreadful Chore Challenge. Come on, join us!

Name: Bunnylady

Position: All-around Slave and Drudge

Dreaded Chore: Weedeating the parts of the pasture that are too rough for the mower. I hate getting covered in clippings, particularly when it's so hot I'll be drenched in sweat and the stuff will be sticking to that, too!

Name: Damummis

Job: Home and other places

Position: Jane of all trades

Dreaded chore: Cleaning the laundry room after it has been the chick room. The dust, oye.

Today's dreaded chore: Cleaning the shower. We have well water with lots of lime and the shower is tiled. I cant remember what color it is supposed to be, but I dont think its white and grey.

I was charged with going to the store after work, and by the time I got home I had to start dinner. I'm supposed to work, work on the house, AND cook? Hrmph.

Position: Stay at home mom

Situation: Air conditioner leaked into ceiling...kids sleeping in family room and living room...rearranging the entire house since the two bedrooms have to be redone. Basically seizing an opportunity to change rooms around...but this has lead to a series of dreaded and dreadful chores.

Dreadful chore: clean out office, and filing cabinets, sort through files, get rid of old stuff and move furniture downstairs. Today: try to clean all the horizontal surfaces that have collected everything from the other rooms........UGHHHHH!!!!!

just buy black socks in future or make everyone wear odd socks!

!

X3 I replace all the DH's socks every 3-4 months. They are pretty worn out by then. Just buy 2-3 packages of the same sock, and no matching required. All the old ones either get tossed in the compost or stuffed in the coop where the tweetybirds come in.

Looks like it is going to rain most of the day so no coop painting today. I guess I'll have to vacuum that carpets of all the hair from my 2 "German Shedders" who are blowing coat right now, dust and other assorted cleaning I have been putting off.

I plan to go through my basement and collect more donations. Most of us have more stuff than we need. I know my family does!
This week, when it took TWO WHOLE DAYS to sort and fold washed laundry, I realized that we have too much stuff. Someone will make use of it!
