Hello! New chicken owner here! Feeling a little overwhelmed, newborn people come naturally to me; baby chicks are feeling a little intense!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We are brand new to chickens! We picked up our five chicks on 5/21
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Five
(3) What breeds do you have? Not 100% sure
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? we are excited to have eggs (eventually) that we know where they are coming from, we also love the idea of raising them with our children to reinforce farm to table
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Mumma of 3 (6y,4y,8m) knitting/crocheting, reading, hiking, gardening
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We are a family of five, two boys and our baby girl! We dream of wide open spaces and a huge property but for now we are nestled in N.H. in almost 4 acres.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
