Great deal at the grocery! When we used to go to the grocery together, it was like having a little kid with me; Jim was constantly wanting to throw things into the cart -- mostly junk food that I didn't eat!
My Jim was in the 101st Airborne. He, and decades earlier, my dad were both at Aberdeen in Maryland for a time. Jim was in R & D there, and Dad was in Intelligence. They were great buddies and both gone now.
Anjanet, hope your little one is feeling better and the rest of you stay healthy.
Looks like a lot of really cold weather here for the next week or more. There are single-digit nights in the forecast.
I am already so over switching out chicken waterers and thawing the frozen ones indoors. Didn't run any electrical cords last year after the incident with smoldering straw in the duck run. Still need to see if the heaters for the goat and sheep waterers are in working order.
Hope everybody gets their final outdoor projects done.
Any task I haven't already completed will likely hold off until spring, if it's remotely possible. On the plus side, I've read two books in the last week. And, I've got more due to arrive in the mail any day now. If not for all my critters, I would hibernate until spring.
