Sounds like an interesting project Jim. Hope Ollie is a quick fix. It does feel cold out there today. I seem to be getting used to the cooler temperatures myself again. Not looking forward to the snow predicted.

Sounds to me like Ollie is more than worth the money Jim. Sorry I called him a her. Long live Ollie.Ouch is right. the answer is no. Ollie is not worth as much as I have stuck into him.
but I use him a lot. I don't have my own car.
I can't drive on the highway any more..
I never had a snowmobile, camper, or we never went on an extended vacation..
for example, my brother has a $18000.oo camper that he uses maybe three times a year , last year he did not use it at all.
I have owned Ollie since 2006. I don't have half that amount in Ollie..
If I didn't have Ollie, I would have to take up drinking for a hobby,. lol
We have cats show up here occasionally. We can tell that they have been dumped. We are rural so tossing the cats out of their car by our house seems like a good idea apparently. Most probably don't survive despite me trying to help them. So, I lost Marco Polo, and his sister's abscessed tooth was hiding a terminal tumor, although Mins seems to feel much better with the tooth removed. Maybe the Universe doesn't want me to run out of cats. Yesterday, a very friendly, yellowish-orangish cat found its way to my house by early morning and spent the day here.
This one is clearly a housecat, rubbing against me and curling up on my lap. It would LOVE to get inside my house if two crazy barking dogs weren't standing guard at the kitchen door.
When I stepped outside yesterday afternoon, not only was the first cat there, but a tortoiseshell cat, which must have been lurking under the deck steps, took off like a streak.
Cat No. 1 was still here when I cooped the birds last night.
At 4 this morning, I once again heard No. 1, which I think it a male, and tossed it some food. I thought I might be hearing a second cat. I was right -- there was another yellowish (I think -- it is dark out) cat eating food I put out for Cat No. 1, who sat calmly and watched its breakfast disappear.
This little critter has been declawed so it does not have a defense against coyotes and likely isn't a good hunter without claws. Maybe it slipped out the door at someone else's house? Maybe someone dumped it? That used to happen a lot back home. We lived about a half mile outside city limits and "inherited" countless cats and dogs.
I'm worried about No. 1's safety, but bringing it inside would be total chaos. What to do!![]()
