Oh man, if only I could make this work. Oh my, oh my, oh my! First, hubby would NEVER agree. Second, I would end up with eleventy-seven dozen birds. I have room for eight. Sigh.

I had the discipline to raise 7 and keep only 5 this year.

I like the idea of offsetting some of my costs by selling eggs and started pullets. I've harvested cockerels and culled retired layers before.
