I'm looking to purchase some dried crickets. I would prefer(human) food grade because I don't like all the preservatives found in a lot of hem that you buy at the local pet supply shop. Additionally, I'd like to get a good price on them.

I've done a google search and found a few "maybes" but wanted to know if any of you had your own suggestions.

So...any suggestions?

Ive Never bought crickets, But you can set up a " Bug Farm" by putting old carpet or the stuff under carpet on the ground, and about 2-3 weeks later you can pick it up and boom! Crickets galore. Seeing that you live in Tennessee, the state to my one up, one left, 2 down, one up, It shouldnt take to long with the temps for a Bug Farm to be made. As for buying, I see your concern with chemicals. Maybe for treats, you should do the Happy Hen Treats. They love those

I saw an advertisement for those on here. What are the price ranges? Believe it or not, the nearest tractor supply isn't conveniently located and I hate to make a trip unless I really need to.

Yes, They are advertised on BYC. Thats how i heard about them. I got them at tractor supply, And they were like 3 bucks. I havnt looked for them at other stores, but at my Walmart ( Everybody has a walmart!) There is a " Cricket Cup". They look nice, but i havent seen prices. I normaly get nightcrawlers from my local gas station that are about 2 bucks for 30 of them
