Drink cup question....

No I don't have to worry about freezing but do they (the cups) need to be cleaned of dirt everyday like the waterers I have now?

I use the cups and they are very handy as you just grab them and turn them and they come off for cleaning. I would say I do it about every three days depending on how much gunk is in them. I have the line set at a angle and the birds seem to know what cup is best for them. Since they do not have a valve in their crop sometimes some feed will come out and drop in to the water. If it does I just unsnap it, dump it, and snap it right back on.

Cutler Supply as with others has the cups and brackets.

I clean mine out once/week. It takes about 5 seconds to clean.
