Drinking all the time?

I only have one duck so I can't really compare her to others. She seems to drink constantly. Eat a but of food then drink, over and over again. Is this normal? I'm worried maybe she's thirsty becuse she keeps eating little bits of wet newspaper.

ducks seem to need to drink to get their food down easier

Mine are always drinking water after eating (i feed them away from their water so they really have a hard time swallowing the feed I feel bad for them so I normally drag a bowl over so they can clean their throat out before they even waddle to their pond

Id' say it's normal

My ducks head is always stuck in something with water the pool,waterer,puddle bucket...5 adults and 6 babies drink alot..

that's normal! They do need water all the time! It helps them eat
