We have a ~5 month old Warren. She was fine yesterday, but came out to see the girls today and she was just standing by the drinker drinking and drinking. She is starting to look like a bit of a drowned rat though, so not sure how much is going down.

Not got a lot of fight in her but she is quite able to move around if I pick her up and plonk her down away from the water (as she heads over to it). Have brought her inside to dry her off, warm her up and so I can better see her poop.

She had a bit of vent gleet a month or so ago, but I cleaned that up and she has behaved and looked like a perfectly happy and healthy chicken since. She has laid successfully a few times, but not much lately (with it being winter here in the UK).

I've given a good feel over an no obvious lumps anywhere.

Any thoughts or immediate next steps would be greatly appreciated.

Update:

Poop pretty much looks like water with some not especially digested layers pellets in.

Have you checked her crop? It sounds like she either has sour crop or an impacted crop.
Give this article a read and see if this seems to fit her symptoms: https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...w-to-know-which-one-youre-dealing-with.73607/.

I have just been looking at this article: https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...ntion-and-treatments-of-crop-disorders.67194/

Pretty sure that wasn't watery poop, but rather watery vomit.

Seems like it is sour crop (it's not hard, more doughy).

Thanks so much for the reply - I will try the treatment per the article :)
