Driving with incubators

I know this is crazy, but we have to drive with our incubator for about 4 hours, give or take. I have an adapter so I can plug the light and fan into my car, so that won't be a problem, but as far as stabilizing them, should I just put them back in egg cartons til we get there? Lockdown will be two days after we get there so they should have time to settle right?

Yes stabilize the eggs, make sure you are using a inverter that is big enough plus some extra-----you would hate to burn out the inverter from overload.
