Hi Helpful Forum! i know there are tons of links regarding the 'black spots' & i poured over them & am pretty sure it's not pox - they are little black 'dots' which could have come from pecking etc... I was also curious about her drooping comb... is that something i should be concerned about?
i'll attack pics below, but, she is a Buff Orp, about 7 months old, had a prolapse a few weeks ago & is all better now, she's free-range & gets high quality organic feed with oyster shells mixed in & fresh water all the time. she [Colonel] is i of 5 hens.
Does she look alright to you guys? She's acting fine, just thought we'd check.

She looks okay to me. I would not say her comb is drooping and the little black spots are consistent with mosquito bites or scratches by thorns, toothy leaves or stems or a peck by another chicken. Eyes are clear and round, comb is nice and red. I'd say she looks fine in the photos you provided. Unless the photo color is off, I wouldn't worry.

I agree with underground chickenman, percy, depending on where you live it might be too cold still for mosquitos. I also have 1 buff orpington whose comb looks the same as yours and another buff orpington whose comb is straight. Neither have any problems nor issues.
