I rescued a baby chick from a broken leg about 2 months ago. She is very healthy. Today all of a sudden, she is drooping her wing. She lets me stretch it and touch it, so i don't think its hurt. Her poop is normal. Do they always have the cocci if they were outside? She seems fine otherwise but i don't know if its an early sign.

It's a sign of something. Weakness, illness, neurological issue. Hard to say until she shows more symptoms. You need to keep a close watch on her. If she slows down further and becomes lethargic and all fluffed up, you should start the Corid treatment for coccidiosis.

Coccidia are always present. During spring, if spring is happening where you live, the moist warm conditions can cause heavy populations. These can get into a chicken and multiply and do serious damage to intestines and even cause death. The treatment is so simple, there's no reason not to just do it if you suspect coccidiosis. And treat the entire flock.

Ok. Thank you. I don't have a flock, just her..but I do think it's easier to just treat it. She does get fluffed but only when she is sitting on me.

I also have a chick with a drooping wing - i have 8 chicks and 2 of them are tiny and weaker. Here is a picture of mine. Any thoughts?
