I have 10 Silkie chicks that are 10 days old. Out of those 10, I have
2 or 3 that have drooping wings. They can use them normally and can
hold them up. It just seems that when they are just standing in one
place they let their wings drop until they almost touch the floor.
Is this something to worry about? Or will they stop as they get
older and more muscle control?
Thanks everyone!

The brooder is at 85 right now. The heat light is only on 1 end, and they
aren't staying out of the light. They eat and drink normally. Stools look
normal.

Sometimes they can get droopy wings that hang a bit low if their feathers are growing faster than their muscles to hold it up. Just keep them on their chick starter and they should grow out of it. Extra vitamins or egg yolk supplements might help out too in getting them to develop.

Thanks everyone. I was wondering if it was just a development
thing. They are jumping around and playing like crazy.
It's so funny to watch them do the chest bump thing.
