Droopy hen...UPDATE...Corid treatment done... questions

Hen has been on Corid now for the required 5 days... she has also been in the warm house and I have been eye-dropper feeding her rice baby food and Corid water. She will also eat small amounts at a time of mash, corn and boss. She only eats these regular things when I sit it right in front of her and makes no effort to go get any herself. She does seem better but still not right. Color is good and poop is good but slightly runny (thought this might me because I am giving her lots of water with the eye dropper). She is alert and puts her tail feathers up for short periods of time. But most of the time she is still fluffed up and tail down and lethargic (just sits most of the time). She does respond to her environment.

Here are my newest questions:
#1 If it was cocci, does it take a while to get her strength back and not act so droopy? How long should I expect recovery to take?

#2 What should I try next, if she is not acting better by the end of the week?

Totally open to suggestions.

She spent some time out in the yard this morning (sunny but a bit cool) and had her tail up and walked around slowly... eating some corn kernels that she found and some green grass... until the new, young roo decided that he hadn't seen her in way too long! He's young and way to rough for a weak hen... got him off and it was tail down from that point on.

I think she is getting better but very slowly.

I would like to get her back out with the flock but think it would be too hard on her still at this point. Any suggestions to build her back up would be helpful.

If it gets too cold and she is still weak, I guess she can stay in the downstair's bathroom until next spring... but I think she will be lonely.

I don't know the answers to your questions, but I am very glad that you think she is getting a little better!

Am thinking about stopping at the bait shop to see if they have anything LIVE that I could tempt her with.

Will also put her back on Poly-visol.

Have been giving her scrambled eggs, canned corn and Persimmons as well as normal stuff. With everything she only eats about 5-6 bites before she quits. Wish I could find something that she REALLY likes.
