Hello all.
I have a 12 week old bantam. Plymouth rock.

Few weeks back I noticed it started drooping it's wings a little.

Around that time I was treating another pullet for respitory issues so I thought this was a cross infection.

The other chicken got better and a vet visit confirmed no major health issues across 3 birds after swabs were done. Unfortunately this one didn't get vet checked as it got sick shorty after.

So this little bantam then steadily got worse and now droops its wings a lot along with leg shaking.

Issue is absolutely everything else is fine.
It eats, drinks, pecks, plays with its other bantams. Moves around the yard fine. No poo issues. No respitory issues. Wattle and comb colouring look fine. No discharge from eyes or nasal. Holds its mid pack pecking order no worries. Apart from the occasional shaking and droopy wings its fine.

Doing the flock wide treatment over the last few weeks post respitory issue this bantam received RX, Antibiotics, amprolium along with ACV vitamins. Electrolytes.

Basically I'm at a loss as to what this is or how to get this chicken over it.

Any ideas ??

If a bantam and it's cold where you live, she's probably cold. Can you take a Pic. Oegbs and other smaller bantams hold their wings differently.

She was bought as a pair and the other one is fine. Temp has been a spread from cool to hot. But not cold. I'll grab a photo today

Actually compared to the other her face is a little more red. Not sure if that means anything.....

Hmm. Is she laying eggs? If not, she might be getting ready to and that's why her face is much more redder than the other. Have you checked her over for any pests? Is she eating and drinking OK?

I have oegb bantams as well as cochin bantams. The oegb do tend to get cold and will shake. I missed that yours was a Plymouth.

Hi
She would be about 16 weeks but not laying yet. No pests
I have used DE a while back but more as a preventative. No pests/mites. Nothing in coop due being a new set-up from the day she arrived mostly.

Yes eats and drinks fine.

What are you feeding?

You are giving Antibiotics, Amprolium, Vitamins, electrolytes.

I would omit the extra vitamins if they contain B1 since you are treating with Amprolium.

A video of her actions may be helpful, upload video to youtube and provide a link.

Ok ill try to get a video.
Using growers feed with occasional scratch mix as a treat.
All the above treatments were spread over several weeks not on top of each other

She's currently isolated and giving amprolium a go and nothing else. 24 hours now and looked a little worse today but it's a hot day today so might just be that.

What is have also noticed is that she is far redder in the face when she is standing. When she sits it goes to a more normal shade quickly so even standing is a stress it seems.

Turning red when getting up and standing is likely more oxygen as well. Could be a bit of stress too.

If you are treating with Amprolium then don't give any Extra supplements that contain B1(Thiamine).

That said, I'd go ahead and start her on 400IU Vitamin E and when finished with the Amprolium, add 1/4 tablet B-Complex.

The leg shaking is worrisome, could be something neurological or disease like Marek's, so hard to know.
Hopefully the vitamin therapy will help.
