So I was checking to see if I had any movement in eggs that didnt hatch...and of course dropped one of the ones that did!
The shell broke all over but the membranes inside are still attached, and chick is still moving.
Leave it alone or get it out?

Ouch Erin! Incubator or hen? There's not much to do at this point but help when it looks like it needs held.
*I* would wrap it in a hot damp towel and put it back in the incubator --- and keep checking every half hour or so.
Is it the last one left from a draggy hatch?
That's all the advice I have --- Good Luck!

H! Tough call. Lose one to save five or...
Do you have the brooder heated up for the chicks already? You might could quickly move the 'broke-egg-chick' to the heated brooder (drop the light to increase temp a little) and work with the chick from there. I've finished hatching many chicks under a light in a 'brooder-situation'. At this point, the less you open the incubator the better.
Either way, good luck! Tend the chick and post when you can.
