Dropping Eggs

Hello! I’m new raising animals and some one I am hoping to purchase from said they are dropping the eggs today? At first I was worried but now I’m just confused on what that means!! I can not find an answer anywhere so if anyone knows, please tell me!

Hmmm I’m also new at this but maybe they mean that the hen is laying the eggs?

I would hazard a guess that she is collecting today's eggs for your order or that she is dropping them off for you today.
It seems like an odd term to use.
