One of my road island reds having runny droppings. What caused it. New to chickens.

there can be many causes but you usually can successfully treat runny dropping with a probotic you put into the water. probotics provide several different strains of beneficial bacteria. the beneficial bacteria will fight the bad bacteria and balance the gut.its great for the whole flock and chicks too! you can use it daily as a preventive and keep the gut populated with beneficial bacteria. the probotic I use for my flock is called Probios. I order it online for around 12 dollars. I believe the site is WWW.probios.com I've been very happy with this product and have used it since they were chicks. you might want to give it a.try for your bird.
