Dropsy, Droopies? Update on Original Post

Quote:
I'm going out shortly and will pick up some Poly vi sol I think I even have a coupon for it (I have a 7 week old).

I didn't have canned cat food but did have canne dog food so I just opened him a can of it and he is sitting beside me on the computer desk trying it out. He seems to like it. He had no part in the water I have given him today. I have it sitting here for him too.

I have noticed that his poo has become runny seeming over night. His tail and butt are covered in it, it looks normal though in color white with some green (or at least that's normal for my other chickens) but he smells rotten.

I have moved the two that were with him away from the rest of the flock and will keep him inside for now.

I really hope I can get him through this, you all have helped alot so far!

I left my camera in the truck but will get it when I get home and take a picture of him.

Thanks!

Please see update on original post-

Here is pictures of him from this morning.

I'm trying to load another one.

His face and wattles are super red which makes me think it is not life threatening at this point.

You need to turn his bttom up and wash all of that mess off of him. You will get flies drawn to it. Look for an injury.

Try feeding him some cooked white rice to see if you can tighten him up.

I would also continue to follow the things I wrote in my previous post.

Oh that's interesting about the Waddles. I didn't even notice it but yesterday they were dark purple.

Oh my me cook... I'll try the rice. Mom (FleenorFarmMom)and I went on a Poly Vi Sol hunt this morning no where around here has it in stock. IS there somethign I could substitute?

I will go clean him up better now, I worked on him some this morning. He's still in the house so the flies can't really bother him too bad.

THANKS!!!!!
