Drowned duck

Are the other ducks the same age? Its not unheard of for another duck to mount another duck in the water and drowned them. Or aggressive Drakes have been known to drowned young ducks. Something caused this baby to exhausted itself and become trapped in the pool. For younger ones I never fill the water higher then they can stand to avoid such an issue.
The other 2 are a few months older. Should I drain the bath tub and use something smaller for now? I did get step n stones this morning to make steps for them to get out easier.

He is doing better. Starting to make more noise and sitting up better than earlier.

I'd definitely keep the water level to something it can easily get in and out of till you can figure out what might have happened. I'm thinking this may have been bullying. But also younger ducks don't have the oil build up like older ducks. So they really can't stay on water forever. Depending how long he may have been stuck in the tub he could of sank from being to wet. You'll have to monitor closely when you let it back with the other ducks after recovery. Do you know if the other are male or female? And is the breed the same.
