well we've had torrential rain here for 24 hours and it seems one of our coops/house was not high enough and has flooded. luckily the chickens all flapped over to the neighbouring roosts to keep high and dry, but the nest boxes (and eggs) are under water and have been for possibly up to 12 hours
the boxes all have eggs in them..will these still be safe to eat or are they likely to have sucked in the rain water, and all the nastiness of the ground thats came in with the water?
