I don't think Turkeys are stupid but I do think there curiosity and stubbornness is there biggest problem

The turkey who is out with the ducks doesn't come in from the rain. Because the ducks don't and she follows the ducks around.

But I've checked her and her feathers are overlapped enough and waterproof enough that she isn't wet under the feathers.

The rest of the turkeys go under their shelters.

Turkeys are very curious and curiosity is a sign of intelligence. Dull stupid creatures don't wonder how things work or even what they are other than food or not food.
