Drunk Chick

i have a chick I brought home from the store I work at in an attempt to figure out what is going on with it. It stumbles around while walking and is slow to get up or react. When it is placed in front of the waterer it kind of dives in with its head but not in the straightest path. Almost like its balance is off. Wry neck was suggested, but it never looks up. Any ideas?

It may have poor eyesight. Wry neck can be a symptom with the neck being twisted to the side, looking upward, or looking downward. Young chicks may suffer from shipping stress, also, and electrolytes and vitamins in the water, whicle dipping their beaks to drink often is the best treatment while keeping them warm. It also could be a weak chick or a runt. Put some chick crumbles on paper towels around it's feet to get it interested in eating.
