1) What type of bird , age and weight (does the chicken seem or feel lighter or thinner than the others.)
Rhode Island Red, about1.5 yrs old, and about 4-5 lbs (she's very small even when healthy. I don't think she's lost any weight.)

2) What is the behavior, exactly.
Wobbly drunken walking. She can stand but not walk a straight line. She's very coherent and talkative. She's eating and drinking just fine. She's pooping fine too. She began to molt about a week ago. Looks like she's only lost the feathers around her vent and belly.

3) How long has the bird been exhibiting symptoms?
Since 3 days ago. It hasn't gotten better or worse

4) Are other birds exhibiting the same symptoms?
No

5) Is there any bleeding, injury, broken bones or other sign of trauma.
None at all

6) What happened, if anything that you know of, that may have caused the situation.
I have no idea.

7) What has the bird been eating and drinking, if at all.
Layer crumbles mixed with sav-a-chic water. I gave her scrambled eggs yesterday that she heartily ate.

8) How does the poop look? Normal? Bloody? Runny? etc.
normal. No blood. Sometimes a bit watery but nothing I haven't seen in a healthy chicken.

9) What has been the treatment you have administered so far?
Sav-a-chic water mix and isolation.

10 ) What is your intent as far as treatment? For example, do you want to treat completely yourself, or do you need help in stabilizing the bird til you can get to a vet?
Treat to the best of my abilities.

11) If you have a picture of the wound or condition, please post it. It may help.

12) Describe the housing/bedding in use.
Wood coop with solid raised cement floor. Pine shavings (that I've been using for years) on the floor and nests.

Also, she hasn't laid an egg since this has been going on. TBH, I don't know the last time she laid one. I have 13 adult standard chickens (including her), 6 babies ranging from 2-7 months old. Also 2 adult banties. I get, on average, 2-3 eggs a day from my flock. I'm guessing because it's cold now.

I've been trying to figure out what's going on with her. I really don't think it's merick's disease. I thought it might be an inner ear infection but she isn't tossing her head back. She is just wobbly....

Does anyone have an idea? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)

She's not really paralyzed. Her neck and wings are fine. She can and does still stand and walk..... Just not in a graceful or fluid motion.

Maybe the molting is doing it?

I let her out. She's running and walking. She's just a little wobbly. Seems not as bad as the first day. I guess maybe it is/was a mild ear infection...
