Dry and Flakey wattle and combs

A few days ago i noticed the my hen has a flakey wattle.
What should i do to get it back to normal?

Do you live where it is cold? Mine get chapped / ashy looking when it gets cold but usually recover in about a week.

A pic would help. It could possibly be favus, here's a link with a pic. Miconazole treats favus, it's a fungus.
