Dry Chicken Legs

Hello again! another question I’d appreciate some guidance with as a new chicken owner. my pullets legs look dry. What could cause this and how do I help?

That is odd. It doesn't look like textbook scaly leg mites, but I would slather her legs with coconut oil twice a week either way.
 
Yeah, anything that coats should be fine. Coconut oil is my favorite since it is thick and not petroleum based, but there are lots of option. Just write back if it looks any worse, but hopefully that will do the trick.
 
The first picture looks like an injury. Nustock cream for horses is good for injuries and leg mites. It is a sulfur powder based cream with pine oil, so good for a lot of things. You can also make your own.

I washed it gently and it looked more like some dry, cracked skin that just got dirt in it. After washing it looked more like the other foot. Applied some Hen Healer ointment, will keep an eye on it! Thank you!
