Can you dry hatch duck eggs? I've incubated in my NR 360 quite a few times and sometimes get good hatch rates, and sometimes don't. It seems like the times I don't get good hatch rates are the times I have more fluctuations with humidity swings so was curious if i could cut out that issue with a dry hatch? Wasn't sure if it was feasible with waterfowl eggs though?

I doubt it very much, duck eggs need high humidity, even despite fluctuations. My humidity was constantly changing when I incubated, as long as you play around with it/monitor the air cells, they should be okay. But I personally wouldnt try to dry hatch duck eggs.

I've done it. It works "poorly", and I have a relatively humid environment, the back of an RV (not exactly a well conditioned space) in an area of the country averaging 1"+ rainfall weekly).

I do not recommend.
Thanks, I figured as much but wanted to ask. Appreciate your input.
