Dry hatch vs. Wet hatch

Hi, I am wondering which is better, the dry-hatch method or the wet-hatch method?

You know, it's probably a toss up. I definitely consistently have very good results with less effort with the "dry" method, even after getting great results with the standard method with numerous hatches. But so much depends on your home, which room you choose, the air flow in that room, how stable the temperature is in that room, how much the humidity fluctuates in that room, etc., etc., etc., the incubator you use, the age of the eggs, and on and on and on.

My advice would be to pick whichever method you are more drawn to and give it a try. Both methods work just fine if you find a good tutorial and follow it carefully.

I won one of the hatch-a-long contests here at BackyardChickens.com a couple years ago using the dry method. (Not too brag (very much), but to offer some proof.)
