I prefer hand turning and low humidity. Works for me!

That little one on your hand....he walking ok?

thank you, yeah chick 1 (chick in my hand) is walking and jumping around but the other chick (2) is a little unsteady wobbly, and seems to flap and fall over, that the one that had a little kink in the neck but has straightened out,
both haven't got used to drinking water on there own I have to dip there beak in, is that normal?? xx

sorry Amy I've got muddled up,
the chick in my hand is chick one, he/ she is pretty much always on their tummy, but does walk sometimes, chick 2 is hopping and running about and their neck has straightened up, we have named them bubble and squeak, bubble is chick one and chick 2 is squeak as it has squeaky cheep lol xx

hi Amy , thanks for the link, well I can defo say you were right bout the chicks legs , I used a plaster and put it on the chicks legs (just the sponge fabric bit) and stuck them together (with a average size gap for walking ect) and I am amazed within 2 seconds of me putting the chick back in the brooder box the chick was walking and even had some food for the first time! and managed to walk under the heat plate with no trouble, I have taken a pic and will post it in a min bare in mind that the pic is a little dark and blurred but can see the chick standing
