Hello:
My favorite chicken Berry who is a Rhode Island Red (5 months old) has dry pox like the rest of my 5 hens. She's had it for about 5 days but today I noticed she was sneezing/coughing. I was out with them for a few hours and she sneezes about every 10-15 minutes. When she drinks water it sounds like a little car reving her engine. It sounds like she has a stuffy nose but I don't see any mucus coming out. I know I need to check inside her mouth which I'll do when my husband gets home but until then, can this be anything else? I'm really hoping it's not wet pox. She actually has a much milder case of wet pox then the others and she is eating dry food and drinking fine. Her poop is also normal looking and she is not acting weird besides the sneezing. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
