Dry skin on chickens face

Hello,

My beautiful Esme has developed a couple of dry patches on her face and white lump along the top of her beak line. She doesn't seem distressed if I touch the areas and I have covered them with vasaline for now, but I'm at a loss of what they could be.
She is well in herself and no other signs of dry skin anywhere else, just on this one side of her face.
Has anyone come across this before who could shed some light as to if they are normal or what is best to do for them?

Dry skin can be common in winter, especially if they are taking a break from laying or have just molted. I am not sure what caused the light bump. I would watch it to see if it grows or becomes abscessed.

Thank you, she has what resembles dried cornflakes on her face and neck now. I keep covering them in vasaline and today in olive oil to see that helps. She's eating and drinking plenty but just seems fed up now.
Poor girl, I don't think this cold weather is helping, she doesn't seem to like it much and likes to be huddled with flock and when alone stands miserable. Hopefully, she will perk up as no signs of any crop issues or any other illnesses.

Has she been pecked around her face and neck? Did you see any fowl pox in your flock back in the summer or fall?

Upon closer inspection today she had lots of patches of dry rough skin that she keeps over grooming on her chest. No other chickens have the rough skin. I have bathed them all in olive oil.

What's the signs of fowl pox?
