Feeling down is to be expected..still.
You are now going through things without your husband to talk to about them. Including, Dr. visits for both you and Robert. Spring is showing up. He's not there to ask him if he heard the Robins this morning. Or to let him know you saw your first Daffodils. Oh those flowering trees are starting to bud out!
My guess is you're still reaching for things you would have been needing to get for Tom. Such a routine for quite a while. I did that for months.
Enjoy those moments when you see the first springtime things. Think, this one, this would have been Tom's favorite. Brings a smile to your face.
I've been praying all along for you.

Wow! Just picked up a new Rx from the pharmacy. Two pills, horse pills. Potassium. I was low on this back in 2020 when I was hospitalized for Covid. I could not swallow ANYTHING at that time so I ended up getting this in an IV for several days that burned like fire until I refused it. Believe you me, I will swallow these accursed pills now!

Why can they not give you two small pills to swallow? Why does it have to be one pill big enough to choke a horse?

I hate when they make them ridiculous like that!!!!!!!!! Amoxicillin and Augmentin, etc. are like that. Way too big. Luckily those ones can be broken in half (says my nurse) so I did. But they are VERY hard to break. Probably would have been easier with a pill cutter.

I've been in the ER for potassium and Magnesium. I now take that horse pull every morning. I can't swallow it whole. I bite a bit off at a time. 5 bites.

I've had both. they called it a banana bag. Tom took the pill every day for many years. I would break mine in half but you end up w/ sharp pieces so it goes in rounded end first. I do believe you can get it powdered form that mixes in water
