D'uccle breeders Database

Due to a major LACK of easily findable d'uccle breeders, I thought I would start this thread. Many of the websites I've searched are outdated or no longer functioning, or those breeders have moved on to other breeds. I know you can get d'uccles from the hatcheries, but I'm wanting a source for the people working on developing and maintaining the breed.

I am currently a d'uccle owner, and love and adore my d'uccles. As a result, I want to learn to breed and show d'uccles. My favorites are the Porcelain, Mille Fleur, and mottled.

If you are a serious showstopping d'uccle breeder, PLEASE POST HERE, with your website, e-mail, state (country if not U.S.), color varieties of d'uccle, any state or national awards and the year won, a photo of both a male and a female of your best d'uccles, and if you sell hatching eggs, chicks or birds.

PLEASE.......

THANK YOU for starting this thread! I just spent about 2 hrs online trying to find out where to get some quality birds/eggs of some of the more unusual d'Uccle color varieties, and haven't been able to find anything! I've seen some mottled eggs on auction sites recently (there's a blue/black mottled post up on here at the moment), but it's very inconsistent and I can never find them again later...

Varieties I'd love to find (I'm looking for SQ birds with nice vulture hocks and huge foot feathers):
Citroen/Lemon
Blue Mottled (black mottled is great too)
Blue/buff mille fleur

So who's breeding d'Uccles? We want your eggs!

I am breeding D'uccles

well i have 5 hens and 1 boy, so a small flock of d'uccles, lol

i have 3 milli fluer d'uccle hens
1 porciline d'uccle hen
1 lavender d'uccle hen
3 lavender d'uccle cockerels
1 lavender possible pullet

5 milli fluer d'uccle chicks.

Thanks Shay! I e-mailed the belgian d'uccle/booted bantam club president Karl Urshel begging him to spread the word to the club members to post here if they are willing to share eggs/birds with us poor unfortunate d'uccle deprived souls. I currently have 2 adult porcelain roosters, 6 porcelain hens, 2 Mille Fleur hens, and a BUNCH of d'uccle chicks in various stages of growth. My problem has been I have been hatching more males than females, and so I end up giving away extra males as pets. It has been a challenge to find birds without the declawed trait from the two hatcheries I've gotten d'uccles from, so I was hoping to get some more breeder stock.

Im currently starting up my flock of D'uccles

Right Now i have 12 eggs in the 'bator some porcelain some MF. Im also going to a show sunday and i hope to talk to breeders and mabey get a few more birds. All my Birds are coming from breeders and as my flock grows i will be culling non SQ or BQ birds.

I started with some porcelains from a hatchery, they are about to start laying but have the missing toe nail issues...

Tomorrow I go on lockdown with 7 blue mottled from a great breeder (I think) I found on ebay so I'm hopeful for those although the blue mottled is not a recognized variety.

I may get some black mottled from the same blue mottled breeder, not quite sure which variety to do next, trying to find some porcelain eggs from a good breeder...

I'm starting a breeding flock of d'uccles - I currently have two MF hens (from chickygirl2), 3 porcelain cockerel chicks, 3 porcelain pullet chicks (from upintheholler), porcelain eggs in the 'bator and a few under broodies (from teddiliza), and I hope to add some lavenders in the near future!

I have lavender and porcelain, but I want to get some better stock. I also can't find any gold necked breeders anywhere, and my poor goldnecked roo is all alone.
