Hello all! After chasing the "dragon" trying to find Mille Fleur D'Uccles because D'uccles and just about anything not production related are so hard to find right now, I found 2 - 8 & 10 wk olds. whoo hoo! Colors aren't great right now, but beards are coming and leg feathers and they have lovely blue feet.

These are pet wonderful as I had read about and hoped, love to be held, sit on shoulders get treats, very interested in people business. I then grabbed a second batch, approx 11 wks, great beards, not great colors and pink feet (with nice feathers) I have 4 children, so each gets to name them. Don't tell that pink feet are not acceptable!

I am looking for a rooster, or cockerel for natural chicks this spring. My 12 year old son expressed interest in showing!!! There are a couple around but are a haul of an 8 hr round trip drive from me. I have had good response on horse haulers willing to transport so just an idea rather than shipping :)

We have fenced yard, chain link run with cover and electric, sturdy coop. These birds are our pets.

If anyone is on this thread and has a good rooster or cockerel for a good home please let me know.

Thanks!!!

We picked up a five milliflora d'uccle chicks yesterday. I would like to have a roo and hens of a different bloodline. I was wondering if anyone had any sexed day olds or hatching eggs they could ship. Thanks

Would any of you like to share some of your breeding plans for 2015?

Here are some pictures of my girls, taken at various times:

The buff one pictured with my rooster is a mix breed hen.

My 10-year-old son does poultry for 4-H, and we are not have much luck getting show quality birds.

He really wishes he could get Mille Fleurs he has fallen in love with these chickens, and he also really wants to try the breeding of his own chickens.

If anyone has show quality birds that they would be willing to sell to my son, please PM me or refer us. Oh, and we live in, PA, so we are willing to cover shipping too.

He did get some ideas that we read through the posts, this place is great. He made me book mark it.

We'd greatly appreciate the help.
