Panda is the little Barred Rock x Blue Ameraucana baby I hatched who insisted she must have a flesh and blood friend. So, we got one for her this morning.

YES! Exactly! That's what I had in mind when I named her-she kicked pieces of shell five inches away from her egg when she was hatching, so I felt it was appropriate! That, plus her black and white BR daddy, Zane, whose coloring I assume she'll have.

Yup, I see now that it doesn't have that poofy face... cochin

It's so sweet..... I'm gonna have to keep my eyes out for some of those. My DH adores that color

I have never seen anything like it. She started that about a day or two after she was hatched.
