you cant always trust Featersite's names for stuff. They use the names the people who provide the pics call them by, wheather it's right or not. Seen it a bunch of times. Look at all the goldnecks on there, just about everyone is called something different, and buffs are called yellows on there too. a lot of it is forgein names though which are accurate for the country of origin.
BUT what they call a mahogany mille fluer to me looks like nothing more than the result of a mille being bred to a black mottled.
The result is a black mottled with a lot of red leakage from the mille in him.
I too would like to see the bird now if he's still around. He was duckwing based for sure, and un bearded. so highly doubt it was from the posted parents. No offense ment by that. Just from a genetic point he was missing a lot of stuff to have come from them. Curious thing happen though so who knows. would be interesting to see him now though.
