d'Uccle in Wisconsin weather?

Hey y'all!
I'm thinking of starting a flock of my own and I was considering getting a few d'Uccles for the gang, I was just wondering if they would hold up well in chilly Wisconsin?

They do fine. In an uninsulated coop the roosters may get frostbite on their combs and lose their points.

I've had them in southern Michigan (milder than northern Wisconsin!) for many years, and aside from possible frostbitten comb tips, all is well. I would avoid Seramas or Silkies, but most other chickens do great. Mary

Also, I do like roosters with smaller combs, like Chanteclers, rather than any breeds with large single combs, at least for the males. Hens aren't as difficult. Mary

Also Easter Eggers, Wyandottes, and other larger birds. I also avoid the Leghorn types, and love many egg colors in the nests! Mary
