d'Uccle Mille Fleur Bantams?

My millie roo has taken down two full sized roos and put them in their place but is still nice to me. My hens are very chatty and sweet. Yes they do fly well! Especially to avoid snow. Mine have survived negative temps so far with no harm also (unheated, uninsulated coop)
They are also laying about 5 eggs a week so far (they just got started about 2 1/2 weeks ago)

Tina - did you breed your Millies with a frizzled cochin to get Mr. Frizzy? If so what color? I am wanting a frizzled millie myself.

No hens, but we have a roo.

He's the pretty boy of the coop.

Wow! I'm actually glad to see this thread. I was almost gonna' start one myself. I have had Milles for quite a while and although I don't show mine, I think they're pretty good. then this odd cockerel popped out. He looks nothing like my other roosters. Most of my roos look pretty much like the ones already pictured in this thread. This little 12 week old has the wildest color pattern and deepest mahogany red of any that I've ever raised. His foot feathering is outrageous and exagerated, to say the least. I'm sure he's some kind of throwback to generations past. I'm thinking of breeding him into my hens to try to get a few more like him. Has anybody else had one of these "extreme" Mille's pop up? Here's a few pics of "Special Ed".
